I’ve just found out about a paranormal search engine. It’s called Ghostly Gateway. I tried a few searches on it and found that there were some terms that returned no results. Other terms, though, returned results that were only related to the paranormal, so I can imagine that Ghostly Gateway might be a useful tool.
When I entered the search term ’Kali’ – this was my first test of the search engine -I got no result. Kali is a Hindu deity, but obviously she is not listed in any of Ghostly Gateway’s directories. So I got no results. That was okay because had I been looking for information about Kali I would have tried elsewhere.
The second search term I tried was ‘candle’ and I got results that were only relevant to the uses of candles as regards witchcraft etc. That was very good. If I used the same search term in a normal search engine, I believed that I would probably get a sales page for a company that sells candles. I tried it. I did. If I had wanted to buy a Yankee Candle I would have been sorted. If I had wanted to know a little about candle magic I would have had to try another search term like ‘candle magic.’
Anyway, sometimes when I am searching for information about something strange and eerie, if it is an obscure term, normal search engines don’t really cut the mustard and I am faced with sales pages for all kinds of things that I am not interested in. Should this ever happen again, I will try the Ghostly Gateway. It might return no results, but if does return them they will, at least, be relevant results.
